Re: Side effect?
I’ve been celiac since 2002, so no gluten ever for me! I’ve also removed dairy and nightshades since I discovered those were making me feel sick before my diagnosis (although I’ve haven’t done perfect elimination due to some life circumstances I’ve had to eat a few meals with dairy and nightshades -...

Re: Side effect?
Hm. I’ve been on it for about two months, but I definitely wouldn’t say I am constipated - some days when it works well I go 2-3 times in the evenings (and these are the days I get stomach cramps in the AM), but other days I still have regular diarrhea. I just saw my doctor and she said I need to st...

Side effect?
I am taking budesonide in the morning right before I eat breakfast. Almost every day a few minutes later, I am getting cramps in my lower abdomen and joint pain in my hips and lower back. Is this a side effect of the budesonide? Should I be taking it differently? thank you.

Re: Enterolab testing and budesonide
Can enterolab testing be done even if I have been on an elimination diet? I am a month into budesonide so I want to get it done soon, but I have been eliminating many foods for over a month.

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Should I not expect to feel better for a few weeks on this eating plan? I’m only about ten days in and while my energy is better, my diarrhea is not. Does it take awhile for this to work? Thank you

Confusing endoscopy/colonoscopy results
Hello, I am newly diagnosed and got confusing results from my doctor today. I have been celiac for 20 years and follow a strict gluten free diet. My recent celiac blood test (ttg) was negative (6.7), which should indicate that I am not ingesting gluten. However, in my recent colonoscopy/endoscopy, i...

Can LC cause anal fissure?
Hello! I am newly diagnosed so I am still learning about LC. I have been suffering with an anal fissure for a few months now and at my appointment with the doctor for the fissure she said that my fissure indicated IBD but not MC because it is on the side. But I just had a colonoscopy, so I clearly d...

Re: Suggested Eating Plan - Stage ONE
Hello! I am new here, and a little confused about fiber. I have seen a lot of things that say Psyllium husk is really help for MC, but in this diet plan it says to avoid fiber. If I am in stage one of the eating plan (I'm newly diagnosed), should I continue to take Psyllium husk or avoid it? Thank y...
