Anyone try yellow split pea flour

I am wondering if anyone has tried this, especially those who can't have rice flour. It looks like a great alternative and maybe not as gritty as rice flour, but I can't figure out if it is millet somewhere that doesn't process wheat.

You can buy a spray at Barnes and Nobel or Books a Million (can't remember which one) call Poo-Pouri it works great, couple sprays into the water first and it "clings" to whatever drops in and the only thing you smell is the pretty citrus smell of the spray. Of course if you are running to...

I have had Schar crackers, they tasted very close to a regular saltine cracker. I also have tried schar pizza crust and it was pretty good too, I was impressesd both times.

Problem is I live in Florida and grabbed the crackers while I was visiting Ohio, the crust someone bought for me here locally.

I went through almost the same experience. After months of months of being so tired I could not accomplish anything, and having a full body rash, they tested my antibodies, which were high, but because my TSH was in the "normal range" (2.95) the dr said it wasn't treatable, and he even sai...

I have heard of the lactose breath test and had a date scheduled to take it, in the mean time I eliminated lactose and felt so much better I decided I didn't need the test to confirm. From what I understood you drink lactose and breath in a machine every so many minutes for a reading. I do use Lacta...

It took 16 weeks of a crazy rash and an allergist to figure mine out, it was horrible. Do you run a low grade fever with the rash? I know I have another intolerance, but have yet to pin point it, even though I am deligent about no gluten sometimes I get the rash, so now I am keeping a food diary to ...

This is exactly what my Dermitis Herpetiformis looks like, and it is extremely itchy. Mine was being caused by a combination of thyroid disease and gluten. Have you had your thyroid antibodies tested lately? It is different than the typical TSH, T3 or T4 test that is most commonly run when a person ...

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check around and see if I can find Badger or California Baby. I live in Florida and have a pool, and although I don't spend a ton of time outside, this will also be needed as soon as the summer arrives. Tex - I agree 100% that what we apply to our skin is also abso...

I have no personal experience on this issue, but was just talking to someone at work that was told 6 months ago that he has Barretts. He has been drinking aloe juice every day and just went in to have his endoscopy redone and the dr asked him what he was doing, said he could see clear signs of empro...

We will be going to Aruba in April, I have only been gluten free since October, I have been so worried about being able to eat gluten free while there that I hadn't even thought about the fact that I will be in the sun most of the time. Can someone suggest a gluten free sunblock?? I have DH that rea...

Sara/Tex - Thanks I will increase my dosage to at least 5,000 IU. Do you think I am absorbin enough in the gummy form or do you think it is about the same as the pill form? Sara - I am lactose free as well, so far that seems to be "enough" but I know that some of things do not show up for ...

Sara - thanks for asking, I am so much better since going Gluten free, crossing my fingers that gluten is all I need to give up. The full body rash is gone, my brain fog is almost totally gone, no new ridges in my nails so the others should be grown out soon. Joint pain gone too. Digestive wise I wa...

Vitamin D question

I see that the majority here feel like Vitamin D is very beneficial, I have been taking it for just under a year, but have REAL issues with swallowing pills. I do whatever I can to avoid them, so I am getting my vitamin's in a gummy chewable form. I am currently taking 2000 IU's a day, (my last vita...
