Re: Covid vaccine

Glad to hear you're feeling better! I'd heard the 2nd one was the hard one. I agree with Tex about the disorganization. I have an 80+ year old friend who is in AL. She called 400 times to get through and finally was able to set up an appointment two weeks out. One day later she got a call that there...

Covid vaccine

Though I probably won't get it, due to previous anaphylactic issues, I'm wondering if anyone has gotten this and how it has affected your MC. My husband is considering it. I don't usually do any vaccines. My first and last flu shot was the swine flu shot.

Diet guidelines

Could someone provide me a link to Gabe's post about a beginning MC diet guideline. I'm having some trouble navigating this new site and have someone I wanted to send it to. Thanks,

Hi Mom Lady, When I was first seeking remission I was very sensitive to cross-contamination and moved to a gluten-free kitchen. I still don't have any gluten flour here but on occasion may cook something in the oven for the grandkids that has gluten but am pretty conscientious about it. America's Te...

Brandy, I was able to do the Cologuard test after finally not having any polyps on my last regular colonoscopy. If it detects any irregularities you still will have to have a regular one but I was fine and didn't need to. Deb

Hi Paula, I have followed this for a while and it interests me too. I have heard that people who travel in Europe and eat pasta have fewer issues than when in the US. It makes sense it has to have something to do with the flour. I am too scared to try it though. Take care. Deb

I have tested three times. The first time the tests were more limited but I had sensitivities to eggs, soy, dairy and a very high (over 500) reaction to gluten. The only thing I really eliminated was gluten and I improved. The second time all levels had reduced but were still a concern. The third ti...

Sorry you're feeling so poorly, Daba. I ate a lot of rice for a while. It was about the only thing that didn't cause pain but it still took a few weeks for the diarrhea to slow down. If you haven't yet, consider Enterolab. It can really help to decide what to eat.

Thanks as always for your inspiring observations. I suspect you're onto something. I heard on the news this morning that blood pressure drugs could cause a worse reaction for those with Covid 19. Something to do with using the same receptors?? Sorry, I don't have a link. Deb

I have been using non-THC cbd oil for sleep issues. It helps me stay asleep and if I wake up in the middle of the night I go back to sleep easier. My sister is having the same results. I haven't tried it for other issues. Deb
