I'd love to try this.

Mary Beth, didn't you say that it isn't tolerated well by those of us with MC? Or was I just seeing things?

Dang, this wouldn't help me at all. No vinegar for me. The first time I heard the term leaky gut was while doing research on autism. I only wish I had my son, who has autism's gut. He can eat anything without any bathroom problems at all. His autism seems to be genetic, but while pregnant with...

I have a strong desire to print this out and give it to my GI. He said "gluten sensitivity" and "spectrum". Unfortunately, I know I'd be wasting my time.

I thought the same as Tex. It's amazing how this disease changes our vocabulary (or at least the interpretation of some words).

WOW! I think it's great that her and her brother share info on patients. Way too often a patient visits numerous specialists who all do their own thing without consulting with one another and wind up doing more harm than good. I'll bet you've helped many, many other patients! That made her start won...

She said I could take it all at once too, or space it out if I wanted to. I'm hoping that one is all I need. I did have trouble getting to sleep last night. I hope that this doesn't become a problem. So far, so good. I've only been in the bathroom once this morning. Not Norman, but not terrible eith...

So sorry to hear about the fracture and hope you can find a way to manage the pain without aggravating the MC. I don't know much about bone density meds, but am watching this conversation and will look forward to hearing your decision.

Dr Appt

I went to the doctor today. She wants to test me for c-diff. I guess she just doesn't get the mast cell issue. However, she did give a prescription for Entocort with the standard dosage of one 3 mg tab 3 times per day. I took 1. I ate dinner, however, did not spend the evening in the bathroom. I'm g...

You would think that with all the success that they are having using this procedure with c-diff that it would become more popular. I find it frustrating, personally.

I still think this is our best bet for long lasting (do I dare say--permanent?) remission.

IMHO, the reason it hasn't been pursued more aggressively here is because at the moment there isn't much of a way to cash in. Perhaps if they patent the procedure then they could cash in.
