Thanks for your thorough explanation Tex. I'm very consistent with my Thorne Vitamin D/K2 drops daily. My vitamin D level hovers right around 60 (ranges 55-70) in the last 2-3 years. It doesn't seem to effect how I feel but my thyroid antibodies have been slowly coming down but it is taking years. R...

Hi Tex, I wish I could say my absence from the board has been due to good health. Unfortunately that isn't the case. I spend far too much time trying to uncover my health issues by way of different health care providers (MD's, ND's, acupuncture, massage therapy etc) and testing. My job is very deman...

I'm homozygous 677. RBC's are typically within normal range but tend to run on the low end of normal or slightly below normal with WBC.

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but I do jump on to read posts every once in a while.

Denise, I have tried So Delicious yogurt and I think it's great. I have not tried the plain however, the flavors I tried were vanilla and blueberry and I use it as a "dessert". When I can't find the rice chips I have found that corn doesn't seem to be a problem for me (what a blessing that...

Lundberg rice chips are sooooo good. I have been guilty of eating the whole bag too Denise. I haven't had any problems with tolerating them either. Yay, for *safe* junk food;)

Good luck Pat. Do you have a Target nearby? If you have short hair you should be okay. Unfortunately I have long hair and the shampoo and conditioner don't really work well enough for me. I have to use too much of both to make it worthwhile and the conditioner isn't conditioning enough for me althou...

California Baby is gluten, dairy, soy and chemical free. There are lots of products and I have tried several of them including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotions. I have ordered from lucky vitamin via the web however I have found their products at Target as well. http://www.californiababy.c...

Denise- All of these changes can really be overwhelming and quite honestly (for me at least), depressing at first but if you do your best at focusing on the "now" and trying to cook ahead for a few days so that you don't get "caught" with no food options when you are ravenous as ...

Hi Denise, I'm just catching up on all the posts and saw your results. Sorry to hear you got hit with so many positives. News like this is a tough pill to swallow no matter how much you think you are prepared for it. It sure does look like classic celiac with those results and genetics... on t...

Hi Mitch, I don't have too much more to add to all the wonderful responses before me but I happened upon a review of quite a few gluten free beers recently which also provide links to the breweries' websites. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't give you much insight on the taste and availability of ma...

In a conversation I had with an Enterolab nurse recently, she had explained that the positive results aren't necessarily indicative of how severely we react to a particular protein. For instance if your result for soy is 30 units and your result for casein is 15 units, it doesn't mean you are more s...

Gloria, You took the words right outta my mouth! Maybe I'm having one of those brain fog kinda days because I spent the last half hour trying to do the same thing and just got too frustrated. It is an intriguing search site. Marliss, I believe Gloria and I both share the same non celiac 0501 gene (w...

Andi, I would imagine if you don't have any bakeries which are exclusively gluten free in your area there might be some private bakers skilled at wedding cakes who might be willing to try their hand at making the cake or even make a smaller side cake which is gluten free in addition to a regular cak...

Harma-Sorry you've been in a bit of a flare for the last couple of weeks. In light of all that you have been through with multiple moves, new environment and new/different foods, there are so many possible factors in the why... the important thing is that you are settled for a bit and life in Amman ...
