Hi Lesley, I hope things start improving for you. I have noticed my nails too, although I have blamed it on the change of seasons and dryness and the fact that I'm still not digesting my food correctly. I have white spots on one nail that I think means something?? Do you have any white spots? Lassie

Hi Robin, Thanks for the info on comfy belly - was away yesterday and haven't had a chance to check it out. What a DX you got. Can't believe you don't have D???? Your Gi sounds awesome. I can agree with him about using the brand and not generic. I finally got the OK from my insurance company allowin...

Hi Karen, Very interesting. Did you do the gene test from Enterolab? My GI did the Gene test when I told him I wasn't keen on doing a gluten challenge. I had the DQ2 gene. Just curious if you had that. Not unusual for a neg blood test though. I woke up this morning to explosive WD as usual and have ...

Hi Tex, I was afraid that was the case. I guess I'm really not feeling like taking a stool test right now or experimenting with adding foods for the test. I am still at one BM but WD - no change and it's orange - most likely sweet potato. I don't want to increase the numbers. If been toying with the...

Hi Tex, Thanks for that information -- very interesting and something I've been trying to wrap my head around. Does the allergen test by Enterolab require ingesting the foods being tested? I am on such a limited diet - not much to rotate. I do know from the IgG test the High - egg whites, Moderate -...

Everything was white this AM. I am never really ready for it, however, Halloween is about the time we see snow here. My mother-in law lives in NYC and said it was white slush, and my sister in PA said it was snowing there yesterday. I was still surprised this morning though! Time to get out the flee...

Hi Lesley, I'm so sorry about your tough night! I agree with Gloria that test results can be shocking and disheartening. I sympathize with you. In terms of your C, I was wondering if Aloe might help. Has any one on this forum tried Aloe for C. I did not know that Enterolab did food sensitivities. It...

Sara - I'm going to give it a whirl with no probiotics for a few days. But I thought a lot of people on the forum used probiotic and recommended them. Do you take them? Tex - Any good sign I'll take! BTW the two blood test my GI has done since DX for celiac has shown that I'm complying with the diet...

probiotic
Buongiorno All, Thanks for the info on the probiotic, Sara and Zizzle. I did check and the one I take is DF. Should I still go off it? Is it the dairy that's the issue or the strains? I was also taking the probiotic from Mercola before I was DX with celiac and MC last January. I will delete the curc...

Tex wrote in another post: soon as the drugs are discontinued, the MC symptoms return, because the inflammation will always be present, in response to the trigger foods. Will the MRT test add more information than an IGG food sensitivity test that my ND did? She also did a cross- reactive food test...

Hi Tex, I have been soy free, dairy free - no oats, corn or eggs for months. Egg whites were high for IGG and I had been consuming them durng the first round with Entocort. The second round with Budesonide I was not eating any of the foods listed above. I have had an ulcerated stomach about 15 years...

Gastritis from Entocort - or felt different on the generic?
Hi All, It’s been a while since I’ve written anything on the forum - I’ve been checking in periodically, but have not posted. I wanted to see if any one else has had these issue. I was on Entocort for 4 1/2 months and was gradually weaned off. Two weeks later I had a relapse. I believe some of the r...

almond bread
If you can tolerate almond butter I found this recipe that i make for simple almond bread - small and dense and filling. http://www.elanaspantry.com Look under her recipe menu. Elana has celiac so all are GF and really good. Do you think this could be considered Paleo? How are you doing Arlene and S...
