Wow, what a lot of information to digest! I looked up naturopaths in my area that work on food allergies and the nearest one is about 75 miles away. My acupuncturist said that she would also help me look for one. As for the acupuncture, I've gone 2x so far - once last Thursday and one just yesterday...

Acupuncture

I've been going to acupuncture for almost 2 years for a multitude of reasons; one of them being the symptoms of MC (starting pre diagnosis). I haven't been since before I was diagnosed in April and contacted her to make an appointment. During our discussion I brought up food sensitivities/allergies....

Hello! I see Dr. Joshua Forman at St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore. He has been very open minded about my treatment and talking about food sensitivities. He has also asked for the link to Enterolabs so we can discuss it at my next appointment as he knows how much I dislike being on medication....

Thanks for your replies and insights! Hopefully I'll get the testing done and find a way to manage this blasted MC with diet and meds only on occasion. I think I may try taking the dairy out and see if that makes a difference. That will be a hard one to say the least. I do love good cheese!! I hope ...

It sure has been a while

Hello Everyone! It's been a while since I've been on so I hope everyone is coping well and loving life! Back in May I had surgery and recuperated well. When I went back to work I was extremely busy to say the least. As I was diagnosed with LC and CC back in April and I've been taking Entocort (9mg d...

After my recent surgery my dr. had prescribed avelox for 10 days post surgery. I was fine for about a week and then the d started up again - not as bad as it used to be - only about 6x a day (funny how I can say "only"!). I called my GI and he had me take florastor and I'm feeling much bet...

That's one reason why I have my own herb garden; you just can't trust your regular grocer; although in a pinch my local organic store has a great selection. I dry, dehydrate, and/or freeze my herbs for use throughout the year (and to give as gifts). And Maggie - I see a lot of birds (I think they ar...

Carol, I hope today is finding you feeling better. As you can see, we all have our days. Hopefully with time, patience and diet you will find your good days much more abundant. It does seem that mornings are generally a rough time for a lot of us. Amazing how we make it to work sometimes; it just sh...

Hello! I'm doing pretty well now that it's been almost 2 weeks since my surgery. The first couple of days were a bit rough but now I'm really not in any pain although I am very lethargic. I told work that I would be returning on 6/13 but I really don't see how I can yet; besides I haven't been relea...

How wonderful you're coming to Baltimore! I've lived here now for 10 years and love it (transplant from NJ). If I wasn't recovering from surgery I'd ask to tag along! There are 2 good GF restaurants in the city - Sweet Sin and Meet 27 right next to each other; but if you're in Baltimore you really h...

What a tragic accident; my thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. Although it's always good to count your blessings something like this makes you even more thankful for the blessings you have in life.
