Taking over the counter cold meds gives me D?
If I take over the counter cold medications it gives me severe D, so I am not taking anything but I did try antihistamine but it doesn't help much, so it leaves me feeling miserable. What I have tried is Day Quil and Alka-Seltzer Plus, has anyone found anything they can take with out causing D? What...

Rosacea/perioral dermatitis treatment?
What type of treatment can we use for rosacea and perioral dermatitis? I used to use tetracycline, but that is what triggered my colitis. What are our options? Does anyone have these conditions. My dermatologist recommended for now is Acnevir, but there is lactose and ...parabens in it so I am hesit...

Tex, Thank you for your knowledge. I have looked at your links, very medical, I appreciate your input. My doctor just called and said not to worry that my B12 levels were just over normal and said nothing more.....we really do need to be our own advocate. Us with MC have some of the symptoms of hist...

Mast cells and high B12
I haven't posted for a long time because I was doing fairly well with my diet, but now I am having a flare-up, back on pepto and a bland diet. I can't get into my gastro dr until next month so my family dr prescribed Diphen/Atropine until my diet kicks in. I haven't taken it because it causes drowsi...

Yes I have urine incontinence, and sorry, but it's not from MC. I have benign MS and the one lasting thing it gave me was a weak bladder, I can control it with medication but it still have to be careful. Now I have to be careful of both issues, I can't be to far from a bathroom :( Sorry I was no hel...

Gliadin Antibody Panel?
My Dr. wants me to do The gliadin antibody panel (IgA, IgG) and TTG AB IgA, TTG IgG. Are these pointless if I have been gluten free for over a year?

Barb

Would you recommend MRT testing if you can't find what you react to? I can eat white potato, popcorn, eggs, beans, and chicken and not react. I know I can't eat tomatoes and of course gluten and dairy. I've had the Enterolab test over a year and a half ago, and have done well until now. I am doing p...

Thank you all! I appreciate your help so much, it's reassuring to know there is some place to turn to for help when no one else understands what you are going through. Jean, I did not notice the last ingredient natto, I know soy is bad, but fermented foods are supposed to be a good form of a probiot...

Thank your for your replies, I guess I will have to reconsider the sprouting. I do have safe foods, but I can't eat enough to put any weight on. I guess that's why I was looking for a meal replacement. Is there a protein powder that any of you use to put in a smoothie to replace a meal? As far as th...

Relapse, Pepto and Sprouted grains
I am having a relapse after months of remission, it's been a month of D with weight loss and fatigue. I think I was eating to many corn products that might have brought in on; I am not sure. My question is if I go on Pepto how will I know when I can go off of it? One thing I noticed during this is a...

Leah, I feel for you, we all probably have enough autoimmune problems and most of them we can keep under control; but a yeast infection is hard to get rid of. I searched the internet for home remedies such as using a garlic clove as a suppository, plain yorgurt put into an emptied tampon holder alon...
