Our precious rice

Post by Zizzle »

Are we on the verge of toxic, GMO "Golden Rice"? Dr. Mercola paints an alarming picture...

I often wonder how much of our MC and related conditions are actually caused by sensitivites to GMO crops, not their original predecessors. It's depressing. Feels like our food supply is slowly intending to kill us all.

Hi Z,

GMO terrifies me, and I couldn't agree with you more. All the more reason for eating from local, organic, non-GMO farms that grow heirloom produce and have free range animals. (I know this isn't a 100% guarantee but it will help). Good news, though, that Congress did not allow the GMO salmon folks to prevail recently. That would have been a travesty!

Hugs,

Polly

Zizzle--

I've avoided GM foods for years now--they've been at that Golden Rice stuff for over ten years and have not managed to make it work yet. There is a good site to go to that keeps track of all of that stuff; it is either gmwatch.com or gmwatch.org. I've always thought they could have an impact on our health.
