Although almost everything seems to bother me, Diet Coke does not. :shrug: I drink it very rarely, however. Water is my regular beverage.

I have become caffeine-intolerant as well as gluten-intolerant. Also artificial sweeteners give me the runs. 95% of the time no soda is worth it...

Before my symptoms began, I kept the Coca-Cola bottlers busy. After the onset of symptoms, though, I eventually discovered that I could drink one a day, without problems. If I drank 2 or more, I had a reaction. Sooooooo, I cut them out completely, (and all other brands, also), for a year and a half, while my gut was healing. I'm pretty sure it was due to the fructose content, because I had to avoid virtually all sugars, while I was recovering. Traces were OK, but significant amounts were not - except for maple sugar. For some reason or other, maple sugar never bothered me. :shrug:
