Dummy of the week award

Post by m »

I am giving myself the Dummy of the Week Award. This evening I was trying to administer an injection to one of my cats and while pulling off the needle cover, I jabbed myself but good. It bled immediately but the weirdest part is that it bled under the skin making a giant blood blister. Now my finger is purple and stiff as a board. What an idiot. I swear the cat just looked at me and rolled her eyes. I did manage to give the shot to her eventually, without further mishap.

I'm sure furry was laughing at you....Come on MOM, you stick me ALL the time and you don't see ME cursing and whining, etc!

Keep an eye on that blood blister for signs of infection.

*OUCH* That is a funny story, but as Katy said, keep an eye on it.

After that, I'll bet you'll never be afraid if injecting yourself if you ever have to.

Melissa,

No reason to feel like a dummy. Cowboys who vaccinate hundreds of cattle each year, tend to accidentally vaccinate themselves on a fairly regular basis. It's one of the job hazzards. LOL.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

m,

Were you distracted by the Michigan/NIU game? I know we lost (beat ourselves with fumbles) but you can't be too excited about your defense.

Love, Jean
