Good day all

Post by annie oakley »

Well it's still hot as the dickens here in Texas. Don't know how Waynes weather is but I bet not a whole lot different from ours. Got off early today which was fine with me. Am off tomorrow til 10am Monday Morning. Knee's are hurting but Doc gave me some Ultracet for the pain til Thursday when I go to the specialist. Mike is filling his deer feeders and putting on his lawn tractor blades.....he bent one mowing our Jungle down today.......We have alot of rocks in places. He mows a wide path for me on the drive out from the house. Not to mention the dogs play yard which he keeps mowed because of snakes. Well that's all the news I have for now. Pretty boring and quiet here. Love Oma

Hi Oma,

You're right. It's hot here too. It doesn't seem so bad though, 'cause I'm taking it easy today. We had a hard week, with long work days, so we decided to just do nothing over the weekend, and it sure feels good to just sit around and relax.

Love,
Wayne

Oma, Your day sounds pretty laid back - hopefully the pain will ease and you will feel better. Enjoy your weekend with Mike home!

It is seasonally comfortable here in Ohio. We are now at 74 at 6:08 p.m. They are expecting a low of 52. Nice sleeping weather!

Wayne - good for you that you are taking it easy this weekend. Rest well and enjoy your time off.

Well, I have totally enjoyed our weather today. One of those perfect days where I didn't sweat at all. I hate to sweat - LOL - WHY am I moving to Florida?????????? Oh, yeah, now I remember.

Anyway, it was a high of about 72 and low humidity. Just perfect.

I hope your knee pain has eased off, Oma, and Tex, I'm glad you are getting some much deserved REST.

Wow! Mars and Shirley, it's downright cool in your part of the world, today. I'd have to dig out a jacket, if I ran into temperatures like that.

I'm a little uneasy as it is, because the weather forcast is for lows in the upper 60s for the next few days. I'm not ready for winter, yet. LOL.

Yup, seasonal here too! Nights are now cooling off nicely...like Mars said, nice sleeping weather. Now if I'd have remembered before 9:30 that I washed the sheets today...now I'm waiting for them to dry.

Wayne, you've got to toughen up! Definately not jacket weather in the 60s...heck, us Vermonters are still wearing shorts!

Hi, everyone.

Oma, I hope that your pain is a little less severe. It is hard to be in pain constantly. I hope that you have a good time off with hubby, and that you have a good appointment with the new doctor.

We had a beautiful, top ten day here today...mid 70's with low humidity. Supposed to be even cooler tomorrow for the reunion...suits me fine..LOL.

Have a wonderful holiday, everyone. Stay safe, and enjoy family and friends.

GOD BLESS TEXAS! :cowboy:

Wow I am with Tex....I'd have to get a jacket if it were in the 70's here. Enjoy your good weather. Yes the pain is bad but I only have to go ubtl Thursday then we'll see what has to be done. I can't afford this doctor but he's good and I need relief soon. Love Oma

Katy,

You Vermonters start thinking about shopping for new swimsuits as soon as the ice starts breaking up on your lakes each spring. I'll never get that tough--not in a million years. LOL.

Tex,

You're right! Swimsuits are in the store beginning in April or May on the East Coast and the winter clothes start arriving in July and August. It is hard to find summer clothes towards the end of Summer!

We still wear shorts up until the frost around here! Usually, shorts by day, long pants in the evening!

You gotta toughen up Tex!
