A day I am not looking forward to!

Post by Umber »

We are on our way to my daughter's townhouse to move the remaining items to storage. It just confirms that they have moved and are not on some extended vacation. I can't believe how much I miss them. It feels like something is missing. I won't let my hubby clean our mirrored closet doors cuz of all the little hand prints on it.

Most of you know how I am about pictures. I was the only one taking photos of Kylee. I have only gotten one picture since they left in July and it was from a cell phone camera. That is the worst part.....not getting to see how she is growing.

They are planning on coming for Thanksgiving so I hope to see them in a few months.

Hugs!

Lori

I know exactly how you feel...all my 12 grandkids live un another state. It just kills me! AT the reunion I just cried when it was over and saw Scooter Jake Cole and Coddie all drive away and go home. Take some dark powder and dust the hand prints so they show up and then take a photo of them. Love Oma

Hi Lori,

I too know how you feel and after getting to spend 2 weeks in the UK with Gabrielle, I now miss him so and it will be another year before we get to see him again. Since he is only 9 months the growing and things he does will just go at repid spped and we will miss it all. I envy his UK grandparents.

He scribbled on a blackboard in our kitchen before they left last March when they were visiting and it is still there. Hate to wash it away.

Love, Maggie

Lori, I know how that must hurt. Here is the best I can do:

I know how you feel. Our only grandchild lives 450 miles away. The best thing so far about my knee replacement is that the kids came up to help out and brought the baby! Its the best pain medicine ever!

Maybe for Christmas you want to give the kids a digital camera! You really NEED more than on photo per month if you are to maintain your MENTAL HEALTH.
