Hey guys! I joined this board never in a million years thinking that I would be one of the posts giving an update reguarding my symptoms subsiding. As a young person with the disease, my D and GAS was beyond a social handicap, and I was really depressed about it, relying on prescription meds to cloud my unhappiness and anxiety about it. Well most of that seems to be over. I've been gluten free for a couple of weeks now, with no Entocort any as weird as it to say my BMs reming me of the old days. around two or three a day. i have been working and not anxious about gas in the meeting or anything else. thank you guys so much for all of your help, without u guys i never would have tried going gluten free, no thanks to my gi.
What great news Lauren. Congratulations on going GF and getting such a quick result. Just remember, you have to stick with it to fully attain remission.
Love, Maggie

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
That's great news, Lauren. Congratulations on such encouraging progress. So glad you're feeling better - keep healing, and thanks for keeping us posted,
