Arlene,
Re your question about enough time for a liquid diet cleanout, I think it's probably an individual thing. With my gut, I know that it takes about 18 hours for a food to go full circuit, so I figure 2-3 days would be enough. But everyone's gut transit time is different. This is not a standard cleanout procedure - just my own idea! LOL!
I also may try that citrate of mag cleanout instead of the Go-Lytely. The only problem is that I know of two people who got very sick using that - both nearly had to go to the E.R during the night. In retrospect, both thought they may have taken too much - that not as much was needed as was prescribed.
Love,
Polly

Polly,
The last time I did the cleanout routine, I cheated and did only about 2/3 of what the directions were (because it makes me so incredibly sick). Since I'm smaller than most I sort of justified it by thinking that the instructions are the same for 200 lb men and 110 lb women - that has to be overkill for the lightweights. Anyway, I didn't get as sick, and nobody yelled at me during the colonoscopy. On a scale of 1-10, just how bad am I? Marsha
