A treat for GFers and paleo dieters

Post by moremuscle »

Hi all GF or Paleo dieters,

I promised a while ago to tell you about a treat I have found in the refrigerated section of my little HF store.
Here is the information:

Sprout Raw Food
Organic Raw Walnut Brownie
ingredients: Organic walnuts, organic pecans, organic almonds, organic dates, organic raisins, raw organic honey, raw carob, virgin coconut butter, organic vanilla bean, sea salt.

prepared by Sprout Raw Food Creations, 1085 Lake Charles Dr, Roswell, GA 30075 (770) 992-9218

www.sproutrawfood.com

This product reminds a little of a "power bar" or a moist and very tasty brownie - no offending triggers in it and thumbs up for that. They make other similar treats as well but most of them have something in them I can't have. If you would like to try this product you can consider asking your HF store to look into it and stock it.

Love,
Karen

Wow, that sounds like a very interesting place!!!

There were a couple of recipies that I'd like to have but I hate to pay $7.00 for each recipe book.

Outrageous!!!!

I know, the prices are a bit over the top but it is difficult to get anything good for free

The product isn't all that fabulous but when you are used to eating stone soup like some of us paleo dieters do it doesn't take much to make you feel like you are in candy land

Stone Soup    but I know what you mean!!!!

I guess my complaint was that they appeared to be small booklets and every recipe I wanted was in a different book. Story of my life.

Do you miss something sweet? I have found that if I have an herbal tea with a couple drops of Stevia in it that it often satisfies that urge.

I bought the Stevia a couple of weeks ago. So far so good but I've only used it in teas. I like it better in hot herbal tea than decaf iced tea but the iced tea is OK.
