Don't let that stuff bother you, Barbara.

They cover each and every circumstance where if something MIGHT go wrong, they aren't responsible.

Every hospital I've ever been to has those forms.

Wishing Louie my very best

You too!!!

I hear ya Barb! It is a worrisome thing even tho its protocol. When I had my hysterectomy I had to fill out that living will paperwork and have it witnessed. I was so scared to have my first surgery then to plan in case of death........yikes! I was a wreck too!

Keeping Mr. L in my prayers.

Hugs

Hi Sis!

When I had my colonoscopy, I was asked when I checked in the day of the procedure if I had a living will, and if not, if I would like to discuss it further. How about that to scare the pants off of you when you are awaiting your first colonoscopy? I actually made an official complaint to the hospital later, letting them know how inappropriate the timing was.

Love,

Polly

P.S. Remind Lou that we're off to Atlantic City just as soon as he gets this taken care of.

It is scarey to hear those words....But we should all have one. Even tho My Dad was old a while back he was in the hospital for a procedure and they asked us for his living will...sent shivers down my spine. Love Oma

It isn't pleasant to think about or discuss BUT I'd rather do that than let them prolong my agony.

Like others have stated, was given similar paperwork when I had my knees replaced.

Makes one think . . .

Take care,
Brenda
