Sally, (And Everyone Else), Check Out The New Posting Option

Hi All,

In order to facilitate recordkeeping on Potty People Parties, and any other types of meetings, I've added a new option that allows members to indicate whether they plan to participate, or not, or are unsure. All one has to do is click on the selection box, and your username will be added to the list below that choice. Anyone can change their selection at any time, just by clicking on the new choice. If a member clicks on the "Participate" button a second time, (which can be done at any time), his/her selection is noted as confirmed.

This allows us all to see at a glance, the status of anyone who has indicated her or his intentions, and should make recordkeeping and planning much easier.

This posting option can also be used to set up carpools, or various other purposes. With a little imagination, we should be able to find all sorts of uses for this feature.

To activate this feature, just click on the "Registration" option, below the message composing window, (mixed in with the "Normal", "Sticky", and "Announcement" selections).

I've activated it for this post, so that everyone can play with it to see how the registration process works. Don't worry, you're not signing up for anything, if you register to participate. LOL.

I've also created another forum, (also under the discussion catagory), for listing Potty People Parties, and meetings. It would probably be best to initially post in this forum, (the Main Message Board), though, so that everyone is more likely to notice a posting about a party or meeting, and then we can move it into the other forum, later. The reason why I created another forum for this, is because the lists could get kind of long, and use up a lot of space at the top of this forum, which would make navigation rather unwieldy. The announcements and stickys are distracting enough, already.

This is absolutely FABULOUS!!! I had no ides such a thing was even possible.

By the way, during my search for news about the Gulf Coast I have noticed that practically all the forums I have looked at have been powered by phpBB.
