Jenny,

Where will you be staying? I eat out mostly in Brooklyn (where the *good* restaurants are these days, IMO!!!), but there are of course great eats in Manhattan and the other boroughs as well.

Feel free to PM me,

Sara

Jenny,

We were in Manhattan over Christmas, just for the day, but I investigated several places. Wish I saved my notes because now I am going from memory. There are many options.

1. Bloom's Deli on Lexington (sandwiches, burgers, roast chicken etc)
2. Hale and Hearty Soup - several locations throughout the city. We ate at the one in Grand Central Station. They offer lots of yummy soups and can tell you exactly what the ingredients and they are labeled GF/DF etc. They also have wonderful salads.
3. Risotteria in the Village. Never made it here but wanted to and ran out of time. Their specialty is risotto but they have other GF items.
4. Bistango (Italian food)
5. Lily and Liu (Asian)
6. Candle 79
7. Baby Cakes an Tu Lu's (bakeries)
8. There are many places for GF pizza, like Mozzarelli's . . .

Have fun!

Hey all, thanks for the tips! We're heading to NYC for a few days after Christmas this year and I'll add these to my list of places I can eat. It'll be my first time in NYC as GF. I know it'll be different but it will also be a new adventure; just have to get DH and DD on board.
