Hi All...
Long time no "see"!!!
Sorry, SO BUSY AT WORK!!!!
Just wanted to stop by and offer a bit of info that I've found...
For those of us with continual, unexplained pain, maybe we should try going to a chiropractor?
I've been going to a chiro last two weeks and am starting to feel some changes. Can't be very descriptive just now (no time!) but they have a LOT of new innovative methods of finding out how your nerves in your spine communicate with your body, shorts in communication, OVERcommunication, etc. In my case, I have many issues in my lower back which are causing me pain and we are slowly working to correct this.
This makes sense, since it was over a year ago (aug 2004) that I'd last been in to a chiro and I'd had increasing pain since.
We'll see what happens.. I'll try to keep you guys posted.
Mars, thanks for the GF licorice link! I think I'd probably been the one missing it! lol
Love,
Christine

Christine,
Thanks for posting an update. We've been wondering how in the world you've been doing, and it's great to see that you're making some progress.
I think you're right. For chronic back pain, a good chiropractor can sometimes bring relief, when nothing else seems to help. I certainly hope the treatment does the trick for you.
I trust that Trent and the boys are doing well, and behaving themselves. LOL.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

The boys are good but I dunno about Trent ;)
It's been a rough few weeks since my promotion.. the ex is being a real brat. The school year has started but he refuses to respect any kind of schedule to keep his son from getting overstressed. He almost picked him up and kept him overnight last night but we swooped in before he got there and intercepted him. What a pain!!! And I'm sure my boss loved that one. Finally he called his lawyer and was advised to "desist", as my lawyer put it, his behavior, until we could get in a mediator to decide what is best for the CHILD, not the ex.
Anyway.. enuf of that talk. Since going to the chiro, I feel more nausea, but my upper back pain has greatly improved, so that's a plus. I still have a lot of lower pain, but they're using electro-therapy on my back muscles to loosen them up. Apparently I have a slight scoliosis and my pelvis is slightly lifted on the righthand side, so my right leg is a great deal shorter than my left, and my pelvis is stiff on that side. Kinda explains why I've had injury after injury in running when I was.. and my recent return of the injury intermittently (my left hip pain).
Well, I'm going to lie down awhile. I got adjusted today at "lunch", and I'm a little sore (sorer).
I miss you guys. I think of stopping by often, but then I get another coworker at my desk or a call on my phone and I'm off doing something else and lose track of time. They did hire a second tier 2 support analyst so now I won't be doing 2 peoples' jobs.. SHOULD help, but we also want to start integrating me with the tech support team since we have a second person in tier 2, so I'll be picking up more work along the way..

Hi Christine!
It's great to hear from you! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate but you do sound upbeat! GREAT for you!
We miss you around here. It has been kind of quiet but picking up more lately.
Sure hope you are able to pop in more often now that you have another Tier 2 person. If it's anything like my job - I handle enough work for 4 people and they wonder why I can't seem to finish anything!
Glad to hear the chiropractor is helping. I also have one hip that likes to go out of kilter and my leg literally is 2 inches shorter than the other one. Not fun!
Take care - hope to hear from you soon!
Love and hugz,
Margie

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

Glad to hear from you....Ex's can be the biggest pain, I had one that was a large pain when My kids were young. I hope all works out for you. Chiropractic is wonderful. Have used it for years. But haven't been recently. Massage is great also. Mike and I used to do massage and Chiro once a week. Most Insurance have a wellness program that allows for a certain amount of visits a year without cost. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
