Quick Edit

Post by tex »

Hi All,

I don't know how it's been working for you , but I find the edit feature to be painfully slow, (maybe it's because I'm on a slow dialup).

Accordingly, in order to speed up editing a bit, I've added a "Quick_Edit" option. You may have already noticed the little circle with the words "Quick Edit" beside it, at the bottom left of the posting window, below the signature area.

If you will click on the little circle, an edit window will instantly open. You can do your editing, and then click in the rectangle to the lower right side, just below the edit window, that contains the words "Edit post", in order to submit the edited text. (The circle beside the "close" message, should already be selected with a dot in it, by default). It works much, much faster for me, when compared with the built-in edit function.

Enjoy,
Tex

LOL. That would be handy, wouldn't it.

I'll look into it.
