Not a bad day
Well, today was ok. I have had a little pain in the knees...but Doc said I could take up to 8 Ultracets if I needed them...But I think I will try some Ice (he said Ice not heat) and see how that works before I use a pain pill. Only had 3 today, I like them because they don't make me feel "out Of Body" If you know what I mean. Have had alot of people lately talk to me about thier Knee surgies...which has been a big help for me. Well That's pretty much it except for the suicidal birds around here lately....Seems every other morning a dove flys up right into my windshield and kills itself. I feel bad for the bird. Well got to go for now. Love Oma

Oma,
Sure hope you can control the pain somehow while you are waiting for the surgery (well, afterward too during recovery). My SIL has had both knees replaced (years ago) and she'd be in a wheelchair now if she hadn't. Rheumatoid A.
It is upsetting, isn't it, when one of our bird friends commits suicide with something we own. I know that's not really what happens but - poetic license? Anyway, I had a beautiful male Cardinal fly into my windshield one time. Really upset me. He died.
They also like to fly into our picture window out back. So sad sometimes but also, sometimes I can go pick them up and hold them until they come out of their shock or whatever and then they can fly away. I'm always happy then.
One time a Coopers Hawk flew into the window. I think he was after our BeeBee. We were sitting at the table in front of the window and when that thing hit we both thought we'd been shot!! It killed it instantly and I got a chance to examine it REALLY close. It was so beautiful.
Sorry, I'm rambling..........

Oh I just hate it when they die like that. Big or small. I have to be careful when I leave for work, sometimes an owl will fly up close to te front of the truck. But I am learning where all these different critters hang out so to speak...so I really watch now. We have alot of birds around our place with the feeders I put out.
I do whatever I can to ease the pain........I also tell myself that this too shall pass. Keep sending the quotes...I like them and they inspire me. Love Oma
