Hi Sally,

He took a bad fall yesterday - that's why I didn't check in here until today.
I spent yesterday at the emergency room: a gash in the forehead required 5 stitches, and they also took several x=rays to see if anythng was broken. It wasn't.

He's very sore today and all they will give him is Tylenol because they're afraid he'll fall again if they give him a narcotic.. Poor guy - it's bad enough to lose your mind. Now he's got more aches and pains.
But he still seems to enjoy waliking around the place.

I'm sure you know how all this goes, having dealt with your mother during her illness. Luckily, my dad is quite pleasant due to being heavily medicated. :smile:

Good, I thought he might have broken a hip. Yes, my mother fell quite a few times. Her skin was so fragile she looked like somebody had been beating her up. I'm glad your father is a sweety. It's so hard when they are not.
