A tragedy - Think of Kendra when you feel down about MC

Here's an update on Kendra from a local news station:

My daughter says that she is finding it very slow to type her papers for English. She is still using the IPad and laboriously typing one letter at a time. DD said she talked to her mother yesterday and mentioned Dragon Naturally Speaking, but her mother said it's not compatible with the IPad. The principal at my school used Dragon Naturally Speaking and it worked very well for him, but he was using a Windows machine.

Kendra looks good, doesn't she? What a great attitude she has!

Hi Gloria, she does look great. She has been through so much, what a trooper.

As far as the iPad there is a dragon naturally speaking app available for the iPad

Also Gloria, google has an application that will allow a user to search the Internet and browse the various sites with thier voice

Joe is right. Iphones come with Dragon loaded into them. And the new Ipads also have it.

As an OT I worked a lot with dragon and know it's great for people like Kendra. I also use it quite extensively. I often have trouble typing, and it helps a lot.

Thanks for posting an update Gloria. She is absolutely beautiful and apparently her spirit remains unbroken after the incredible hardship she has suffered. Her positive attitude can teach us a lot.
