Hi fellow gourmands
OK, I finally went to my special store that carries the only dark chocolate I've found to date w/o soy lecithin; as promised I will tell you the brand name so you can start searching for it in your area - Jean, I had the same problems you reported with the 77% Cocoa Lindt chocolate even though it didn't list any of our allergens on the ingredient list.
The chocolate is apparently German, the brand name is HACHEZ
The chocolate is sold in flat 100 g bars wrapped in chocolate brown paper; it say's "COCOA D'ARRIBA" on the cover. It is 77% Cacao - nice bitter flavor. In addition to the flat bars I found a long candy bar like stick of chocolate wrapped for easy consumption (same company, same flavor); like for instance while you are driving I feel almost normal when I snack on something like that in public (unlike when I pull a pork chop out of my pocket book); it tastes great with a good cup of coffee.
Jean, we have a choice of flavor!! It comes in a classic and in an orange flavored version. I tolerate both those varieties BINGO!!
There is a website listed on the wrapper that I have not yet visited:
www.hachez.de
Happy Indulgence
Love,
Karen
P.S. FYI the above chocolate is free of gluten, dairy, yeast, corn, and soy - isn't life wonderful
