See below a selection of my Christmas decoration in my home in Amman. Although it is a very modest version compared to the lighthouse I used to have in Groningen, also in Amman I keep on celebrating my tradition: a Christmas style home. Also here through the shops, malls and hotels breaths a certain Christmas air, here and there I even detected street light decoration and last Saturday there was a real Christmas market/bazaar. But still it is really NOTHING compared to what I am used to have in the Netherlands. Besides that, with a temperature of 15 - 20 degrees, I keep having the idea it is spring, instead of being in the holy days towards Christmas, my favourite time of year. But I am close to the part of the world where Christmas started: Bethlehem the place of birth of Jesus Christ.
I want to wish you all a very happy, merry, holy, loving Christmas. For 2012: I wish all your dreams may come true in a healthy, loving and blessed new year. Don’t let the news of the crisis, wars and other disasters drive you crazy. Focus on the positive and love in your surroundings, focus on what is possible and what you have and may god bless you with many more goods things coming into your life in the New Year.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2012

Happy Holidays, Harma, and a better than ever New Year.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I have been to midnight mass in Bethlehem a few times. It's actually VERY disappointing. A lot of drunks and unruly people pushing around, and many police.

was a beautiful heartfelt message - thank you
Your english is perfect! (actually it is probably better than mine, as us aussies use alot of slang)
Having spent all my christmas's on near or on the east coast of Australia, sunshine and flies are the norm.
