My wishes for you and Lou to also have a Merry Christmas, and happy healthy New Year.

I am still fairly new here, but it has been great getting to know you and the others here.

Merry Christmas, 'neighbor' Barbara, to you and your lovely husband - from all of my folks here in Brooklyn!

And a very happy new year, too.

Hi Barbara and merry Christmas to you and Louie... I must admit that I did miss sending you a Christmas card this year and have been remiss in sending out cards to anyone this year overall due to the recent surgery.

'Mrs Joe' a.k.a. Nestlé sends her best tail wags to you and a woof for all. Certainly merry Christmas to all here, I'm enjoying a great quiet visit up in Maine.

Nope no honeymoon Gabes, I would go someplace a LOT warmer for that LOL (it's -9C right now). I am enjoying the time here though, it's quiet and its been great to continue getting over the surgery from last week, I still tire out quite easily.

Now hang onto your hat so to speak, I am going to actually try to do some real baking..no mixes, no packets. I have decided to try Dee's recipe for Italian bread... This should be quite an adventure. I have never tried any baking like this.

Here is a cute story I sent to Gabes this morning that you might like about how out furry friends can really brighten up our world.
As I awoke in that dreamy state when your not quite awake and thinking straight, I rolled over and found that am hugging something warm and soft..my mind did not process what this could be but enjoyed it anyway... As my mind slowly awakes I open my eyes to see a Nestlé laying on the pillow next to me looking right at me with that smile that's very hard to be mad at.  As I smiled my first thought was I can do better than this! My next thought is it's going to be hard. Nestlé can melt hearts and soften souls like nothing else I have ever known in an animal.

Joe,

That's quite a Christmas Moose you have there! Glad to hear you're recovering (and that your sense of humor stayed strong throughout).

Love,
Sara
