Hubby may be going to STorm area
I just found out tonight that Mikes work is trying to decide whether to send him to Houston or not tomorrow. Close to Dickenson (One of the evacuated areas) Seems a client there (verizon) wants a generator hooked up in case all the power goes out. They don't want to lose power in thier main systems. I said I was not a happy camper to Mike about it. He will let me know tomorrow if he goes or not. Just What I need....a husband in an evacuated area because Of an approaching Hurricane......Makes for good sleeping. Scares me to death! Makes me wonder where some peoples brains are....... Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
I wouldn't be too happy about anyone having to go that area either. I justed logged on here, even though it is after 11pm here, just because I wanted to know if everyone is okay, and out of the area. This is pretty scary hearing about hurricanes from afar. I cannot imagine what it is like being there, or having family there. Although, my SIL's brother lives in Texas, Houston area if I am correct. And he has 3 small children, so I am going to get on the horn and see if they have been able to talk to him to see what he is doing, or if he is having to evacuate too.
After Katrina, this is such a major assault on the that part of the US, I am not sure how people are handling it. I would be scared, really scared.
Lets hope your Mike won't have to go. Cross your fingers and toes, and I will do the same here.
Hugs
Wendy
