I got one on one mother's day a while back, went with my daughter and her two friends. I am the only one who ended up with a tatoo. It was one thing I was never allowed to do, so at age 38 I got one. It is chinese symbols that mean "Harmony". The one thing I was looking for. Still searching, but its there to remind me. I too have it where it can't always be seen, upper left boob. Now Mel aka Nathania, who just got a 6 " long, 3 inch wide dragon down her back to match her girlfriends, has a couple other ones too. But you only see them when she is in a bikini. Around her bikini line she designed a tatoo that is a symbol for her of keeping her friends memory, a friend she had when she was just 9, her friend was 13. She wants to get all the earth signs eventually. Then on the inside of her right arm she has a saying in latin that means she is one of earths children. So she has three. Her girlfriend has allot. A couple I have not seen as they are really hidden, but the one on her tummy says BUDD in big caligraphy lettering, as that is what her dad has always called her, and she loves her dad so much. Then she has a band around one of her arms that matches the same tatoo that her dad got at the same time. Then she has a basketball on one of her back shoulders, as she went to College on a basketball scholarship, and was one of there championions as she made the shot that one the College the all Canadian Championship, and she was put in the College Sports hall of fame, won an award and all that. Then my firstborn, who was also the girlie, girl of my family, and was the first to get one after her dad and I divorced, so she has a Native butterfly on her neck and a Native rose on her lower back. Her fiance has numerous ones also. It seems to be the big thing to do now a days. Its also interesting to see when we got one, and why??? So who else? And piercings, anyone with odd places pierced??? MY oldest had her tongue piered, but has since let it grow in. But Mel aka Nathania, got her nose pierced. Now that was one thing I didn't want her to do, but now that it is there, it seems part of her personality. Her girlfriend has BOTH nipples pierced. And I just say that is a big OUCHY.
And that is it for family. MY kids told there dad for the longest time that they were just temporary ones, but he clued in when he seen them over and over and all in the exact same place. When he seem mine he just gave me the "EYE".
Anyway time for bed for me. Pebbles is already there. You can tell she is getting older, if I take her out and am talking to my landlords she goes up on my deck and turns and looks at me as if to say, "I"M WAITING".
Just want to say that I have also been taking steps to ensure that she does not get sprayed ever again. As soon as it is dark, the leash goes on and I control where she goes. There will be no mad dashing to chase anything, EVER!!!
And as my bro calls me, its the Dudette Out for the evening.
