My husband has mc and I'm trying to help him by researching on this forum.It sounds like he needs to eat gluten free products so I went to the store and bought some gf bread. The company was Energy gf and it was a tapioca loaf. I took one bite myself and had to spit it out as it was Horrible! Could someone direct me to a fairly good tasting gf bread? I appreciate it. I thought we would start with bread and pasta and then expand from there.

Welcome to the board. Yes, a lot of commercial GF bread is better used as a doorstop, than as food. One of the better brands is Udi's. Hopefully, it's available in your location. If you enjoy baking, we have some recipes that will turn out bread that some consider to be as good as bread made with wheat flour.
For pasta, many members here like Tinkyada brand.
Good for you, for supporting your husband. You are correct, despite what many doctors claim, diet control is the key to complete and lasting remission from MC. It takes dedication and hard work, but it's worth it to get our life back.
Most of us with this disease are also sensitive to casein, the main protein in all dairy products, so your husband may have to eliminate that from his diet, also. He will at least be lactose-sensitive until the inflammation is controlled, because that happens to everyone who has an inflamed intestine, (we lose the ability to produce lactase enzyme, needed to digest the lactose, when our intestines are inflamed). After he is able to get the diarrhea stopped, if he finds that he's still sensitive to dairy products, then that means that he is almost surely sensitive to casein, also, so he will have to avoid all dairy products for the rest of his life, in order to prevent MC from flaring, again.

Today I discovered that Kroger has GF chicken, beef and vegetable broth.
Trying to fix nutritious, tasty GF meals is putting my cooking skills to the test. LOL
