Thanks, Jenny! Aside from the expected nausea and the totally unexpected ravenous hunger, things are going well! We have our first official prenatal appointment with the midwives on Tuesday morning. It's very exciting. I look forward to the time when I actually feel like I'm carrying a child. Right now I just feel like I have a weird case of the flu where the only remedy is to eat obscene amounts of food!

I just read your new post, I hope you start feeling better! You may have some additional sensitivities possibly? I hope things turn around for you so that you can enjoy it a bit more.

Hi Jenny - I think my sensitivities are the same as they were before pregnancy. It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to heal fully before this big adventure, but really there's never a perfect time to conceive a child. Or wait - maybe there is. When it actually happens! :)

It sounds like your pregnancy is progressing normally. Eat away!
