Hi Nancy. I just read all of the posts here and it's great that the Imuran is working for you! I am pretty new to all of this and just started Entocort ( which is working very well, but it's good to know that there are other options. I totally understand wanting to live your life ( it sounds like you have a very good one) to it's fullest. We all have to make the decisions that seem best for us. Thank you for sharing your journey. It is so helpful to people like me :)

Nancy,

Thank you for the update; I've been wondering how you've been doing on Imuran. How great that you've gained a few pounds.

I'm anxious for spring also, so that I can ride my bike, grow flowers, etc. Summer is such a happy season.

Nancy,
I am so glad you are doing well on the Imuran. It has been a great solution for me, too. I have not posted for a while because I am back to my normal "very busy" life. LC had taken that away from me and the Entocort and then Imuran gave it back.

I am completely GF and make most of my own food. I have a few things that I buy prepared, but not much. I, too, am thankful for all I learned on this board.

I know you are going on a trip soon and I hope you feel well enough to enjoy everything about it!

That's great news Nancy, I am so glad you have found a solution that works, it's always great when we can get our lives back.

Like you and Celie I was entocort for a while (about 8 months) and then tried to taper the entocort which did not go well. I started back on entocort as well as the Imuran and then over a couple of months tapered off of the entocort and stayed on the Imuran. What I have found is that I have Normans most of the time and I am not really sensitive to cross contamination at this point. I have been able to add back some small amounts of raw fruits and some raw vegetables. I do still have to be cautious, but this certainly is manageable now.

Thanks for the update Nancy and Celie
