Anyone ever had this weird reaction?

Post by desertrat »

Okay, lazy day today for me. Sat around on the computer reading/researching most of the time. Didn't eat much because I wasn't hungry. Later I got an urge to have some potato chips in the afternoon. In fact, I ate a lot more than I probably should along with some hummus. Potato chips were just potatoes, salt with either sunflower, canola, or corn oil. Never ate that brand before. I always eat hummus, so I was okay with that. Then the weird part. After about an hour, it felt like I took a Valium! So sleepy and yawned like crazy! I was slightly dizzy from how tired I was! What the heck? Has anyone ever had a reaction to a food like that? I know most get sick to their stomach, but sleepy/exhausted? Color me confused!!

Mandy (who won't be eating those potato chips ever again)!

So, you think it might be the grease? Hmmm. Interesting. By the way, how are you Oma? Been thinking about you. Still in Arizona?

Hi Mandy,

Dizziness from a specific food is a common reaction for me. Brandy
