Mike said that he and his crew are very busy. Filling containers of fuel and taking it where it needs to go....hooking up and starting generators where ever needed. There were 5 bodies found this am...they had taken thier generator inside the house. and were affixiated. There are some place where they won't let them in yet. I can tell in his voice he is tired and is a bit sadened for these people affected by Rita. He said we should all be thankful we don't live where Rits has affected people. I told Him I am proud of him for the work he is doing and that I love him and come home soon. And to be careful. Prayers for all affected by Rita. Love Oma

I noticed a fair number of vehicles headed back in that direction today. About half the gas pumps in this area have gas, now.

I'll bet he IS tired. There's a tremendous amount of work to be done down there.
