rash
Since I have been having D and gurgles lately I went back to my first week of safe foods. (i have been taking a zantac in the morning and an allegra in the afternoon). Cod is on my super safe list and since it's a fish I am assuming it's high in histamine I had some for dinner with some onions and green peppers (very well cooked). After I ate everything I had no stomach gurgles and seem to be okay (for now...) But i do get this rash under my breasts that looks like a heat rash. I am going to try and add it to this post...
My doctor called today and said histamine levels were normal as was my vitamin D. My WBC is still low...I told him I didnt want to take any meds and I was still thinking I had mast cell issues. He said he would call me in an rx for lomotil. I dont think i want to pay for that when i have a whole bottle of immodium. I just really cant wait to see the new dr at bringham next month!
ps dont mind the other spot below it, i just had a mole removed..

This is exactly what my Dermitis Herpetiformis looks like, and it is extremely itchy. Mine was being caused by a combination of thyroid disease and gluten. Have you had your thyroid antibodies tested lately? It is different than the typical TSH, T3 or T4 test that is most commonly run when a person goes to the dr. A lot of people that have that type rash also break out when they eat foods high in Iodine (I haven't encountered that yet) Iodine is in a lot of foods other than just salt, eggs, strawberries, shrimp.
It took 16 weeks of a crazy rash and an allergist to figure mine out, it was horrible. Do you run a low grade fever with the rash? I know I have another intolerance, but have yet to pin point it, even though I am deligent about no gluten sometimes I get the rash, so now I am keeping a food diary to figure that one out.

O.M.G. I get the EXACT SAME rash all the time on my belly and under the breasts. For me it happens anytime I exercise, get hot or sweat. It does not seem related to food. It's short-lived and does not itch. It happened once during a doctors visit and he called it a sympathetic rash -- nervous system overreaction, I guess. My thyroid tests have always been completely normal too.
