Liz Your favourite movie

Post by Wendy »

Liz, I couldn't believe it when I seen that was your favourite movie, because I think it is one of the all time greats ever made. Random Harvest brought me to tears, even my girls, who were teens at the time loved it. I had it recorded on VHS, on Saturday evenings there were featured shows and conversations with a movie buff called E-something or other Yost. He would have interviews with the actors if they were still living, or their friends and fellow actors, directors and so forth. It became a family thing for us to watch it every Sat. Now that you reminded me of that wonderful movie, I am going to begin looking for it on DVD, hope they have preserved it enough to be able to do that.

So if anyone see's this particular movie featured, watch it. It tells a great story of love, perserverance and hope.

Hugs

Hi Wendy,
I checked our Public Library catalogue and they have Random Harvest as a book, as a videocassette, and as a videodisk. Yea, preservation. Maybe other libraries have it, too.

Hi Wendy

I have seen it that many times and could still sit through it again. Loved Blossoms in the Dust and Mrs Miniver too. She was a wonderful actress.

Love

Liz
