Pegster Update

Hi all...I heard from Peggy and she wanted me to let the board know that she is on the mend, but still very sore. It's hard for her to type much and she is having a hard time sleeping because of the neck fractures and neck brace. She will see the wrist specialist tomorrow.

Glad to hear she is mending. Sorry about the discomfort and difficulty sleeping though. As far as I am concerned, sleeping is the best medicine! Give her our best wishes next time you write!

Oh, I didn't see your post before I posted mine. And I looked too, must be blind or something. Anyway, I just added a bit more to what you had said. I didn't keep her on long either, you can tell she is very tired, not her usual perky self.

It was nice to hear her voice though.

Yup...I called her tonight too! She had just returned from the wrist doc. They told her that she could live with a bump on her wrist or have surgery...she decided to keep the bump...can't really blame her. I think she said that her neck doc will back next week. She tried to get a new neck brace and meds at the hospital today, but they were out of the authorization forms needed to give her the stuff! She ended up going to a clinic so Ronnie wouldn't have to leave work tomorrow to pick-up the meds.....sigh...poor Pegster. But, she has a very positive attitude, and is so thankful it wasn't worse...that's our girl!

I sure hope you can get to read the board even if you can't type. Hope the pain alleviates soon and sending you all my love for a speedy recovery. I know that is wishful thinking but I sure want you to feel better.
