I Heard From :pigtail: Today

Post by tex »

I sent Peggy some flowers, today, (and a teddy bear), on behalf of all of us, to cheer her up a bit, and she sent me a brief note, thanking us. She also gave an update on her condition.

She's resting as much as she can, but she still isn't able to sleep very well, because of the neck brace. Sitting at the computer is difficult and painful, so she still isn't able to read the board.

She has an appointment to see the doctor about her wrist tomorrow, and an appointment to see another doctor about her neck, next week.

I told her that we would keep sending positive thoughts her way.

Love,
Wayne

P S No, you don't owe me anything. I figure it's the least I can do, as admin of the board. I'm just glad she'll be as good as new, after she finishes healing.

Thanks Tex, that was such a kind thing to do. She must be in so much pain. I am going to try and call her tonight, there is a 3 hour time difference so I will have to pick a time when I will least disturb her. Poor girl.

Hi Wayne,

I need your address. You are certainly Sir Galahad but I really want to send you something towards the flowers. Thanks so much for everything you do and going way above and beyond just being a board administrator - you are a true friend and family to all of us.

Love, Maggie

Hi Maggie,

Thanks, I really appreciate your kind words, and your generous offer, but it wouldn't be fair to accept any contributions. I didn't even consult with you before doing it, so it certainly wouldn't be right to expect any contributions.

Love,
Wayne

What I need is one of you to PM me Peg's snail mail. I have it in the great shuffle that is my office, but couldn't put my hands on it this morning.

What a great family we have here.
