You got me thinking, Tex, so I took my BP/heart rate this morning in similar conditions to what I have done it before. MY BP average was 135/91, same as it was when I was taking atenolol, and my heart rate average was 60bpm. So there's been no change with the additional desiccated thyroid. The mid-70's range is later in the day, and my records show that is the same as what it was before I bumped the thyroid. I have lost a couple of pounds, which is very encouraging, as I have mentioned before that my weight did not budge so much as .2 lbs. no matter what I did. So as I lose weight, my BP will come down. Yay!

Thanks for reminding me of this--if I choose to bump my thyroid again in a couple of weeks, I will be sure to pay attention to my heart rate.
