Super bloated

My stomach is sticking out in front of me like a 7 month pregnancy. It feels like it is full of air. I am having horrible cramps, but no real BM. Just some yellow mucous.

I had the endoscopy on Friday. Could all this reaction be from the anesthetic?

Another question: The more bloated I get the more weight I seem to put on. 2 lbs overnight! Then I lose it even though I stay a bit bloated. incredible weight fluctuations.
Anyone else have these?

Morning Lesley,

Sorry about the bloating and it seems like an endless cycle for you - it WILL get better!

I have the same bloating problem with big weight gain 1-2 lbs. and then drop the next day. Always has been this way since the onset of the disease.

Hi Lesley,
I too have major weight fluctuations, although in my case I think it's a side effect of the Entorcort. I can gain and lose 3-4 lbs. in 1 day. YUCK!!

Im sorry to hear that Lesley, I am surprised that you are following MRT and still having GI issues. The yellow mucus and bloating make me think it's either the anesthetic or something your eating that's not agreeing with you. When they did your procedure, did they fill your tummy with gas at all?

Sorry you are still so miserable, Lesley, I wish I had some advice to give.
Resolved MC symptoms successfully w/L-Glutamine, Probiotics and Vitamins, GF since 8/'09. DX w/MC 10/'09.

Jen - it was only an upper endoscopy, so they didn't fill anything with gas.

I am ONLY eating green foods from the MRT, but no grains and no fresh veggies or fruits. Keeping it very simple, but am still beset by bloating, and other problems.

I was trying to figure it out, and suddenly realized that it started after the endoscopy. :idea:

Thanks for telling me I am not the only one with this sort of bloating and weight fluctuations. Phew!
