Talked to Peg.....

Post by Sally »

...or rather, she talked to me. She must be on some very good painkillers because the minute she recongized who it was, she just rattled on and on.

She told me a little bit about the fall (actually quite a lot  ) and it sounds awful. She fractured the C1,2,3 and T1 vertebrae. The doc says that these shouldn't give her any problems. They just need time to heal. Same with her wrist. I don't know, it all sounds horrible to me.

Keep sending her cards and stuff. The weather is kind of gloomy out here and we all get kind of gloomy ourselves. Imagine if you couldn't even wash your hair!!

Lots of love,

Sally

Hi Sally
Great that you were able to talk to Peg. Sounds as though her spirits are up and that will help get her well.

I know how she must feel about the hair. Being able to wash my hair after 3-4 days when I was in hospital was heaven, even better than the shower I think. :bath:

Love

Liz
