Kitty, almond milk, coconut milk and soy milk are not dairy. Soy milk is not an option for many, almond milk can be a problem for some. Coconut milk seems to be workable for many.

Thank you Deb

I had not idea dairy could be so all over the place I will try the almond and coconut milk Im thinking either would also be good on my boiled rice as a treat (if I can tolerate either)

Thanks,
K

Now you're thinking Kitty! It would be great cooked with rice ( a little sugar and cinnamon would be like rice pudding). I like the SILK unsweetened Almond milk that is sold in the refrigerated section along side the milk best.

Last night I baked some fish ( cod) that I spread with Dijon and top crusted with crushed corn flakes. Very good :)

I have both...I like the cinnamon best and they are rice instead of corn which I consider (rightly or wrongly) to be a little easier on my gut. Also, another food that seems pretty good is Tinkyana rice pasta. They have it in different shapes and in both brown and white rice versions. I made spaghetti tonight and the rice pasta made me feel like I was eating real spaghetti.

Sorry .. I postesd this on the wrong thread. I thought I was responding to Tex and I think Leah who were discussing breakfast cereal. Sorry if it didn't make sense.
