I love all the sorbets, especially chocolate! Were you having trouble with mango?

I received an ice cream/sorbet maker for Mother's Day. Our gelato/sorbetto shop isn't open to the public any more. He sells at a kiosk at the AF base and does catering and special events.

I didn't have ingredients other than bananas so I made a variation of Polly's recipe. Fresh bananas in the food processor then into the sorbet maker freezer bowl with a splash of vanilla. YUM.

Now I will have to try more flavors! I don't know about fresh mango because I haven't tried it yet, but I can do dried mango. It's the next thing on my list to try.... Can't eat bananas though :(

I've been eating the Ciao Bell brand of mango sorbet, too. I believe it has the least amount of ingredients of all the brands. It's so nice to have sorbet again.

 Yikes, the recipes that came with the machine have a lot of sugar and corn syrup. I made strawberry sorbet and it was delish. I think Polly's banana recipe will be the main thing I make.
