Who sneaks milk into sorbet and why?!?!? This is a store brand, so who knows if other retailers will follow. Be careful out there!


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 22, 2012 - Harris Teeter is recalling HT Traders Sorbet in the following flavors: Lemon, Raspberry, Mango, Coconut and Orange, due to possible undeclared milk protein.

Apparently the sorbet was run on the same line as ice cream, but the equipment wasn't cleaned. We have at least one local family whose dairy allergic child had a reaction to the sorbet.
