Thanks to all the members of this board but especially to Tex. He is a walking encyclopedia. I would not be where I am today if I had not found this group.

Marliss,

I'm not sure which thread you're referring to. Was it this one?

http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12933

Or this one?

http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10837

Or another one?

Gloria posted a link on your second link above, Tex, of some of the things Sally wrote 10 years ago. Thought it was worth bringing over to this thread: http://web.archive.org/web/200212030621 ... d/id9.html

Thank goodness that we have this forum and you, Tex, to help guide us through this disease! We'd be lost without this group...thanks to all!

I resoundingly echo all the comments and thanks. I would never have survived without this forum and all the help. Finding you is up there with the best things that ever happened to me!!

Much love and many thanks to all, especially Tex!

Yep--all of them, including Gloria's. I've read them all in the last 18 months or so, and I think of Sally often. What an inspiration, and you, and Polly, and Matthew, and the rest of you who have been here from the beginning.

Thank you for your dedication to others.

We have learned a lot and have improved our health thanks to you and thanks to the other members who have been here since the start of the forum (and before)... Please, forgive me for not writing all your names, because I do now want to leave you out of the list.

My thanks are for ALL of you.
From my heart.

Happy birthday to all

Congrats Tex and all the others who were so critical in creating this great place!

I have visited other health board forums and NONE, and I mean none, have the "personality" of this board. The genuine kindness, concern, willingness to help, resources and overall support is truly unparalleled. No doubt the PP forum "personality" was created by the kind and caring originators. Many thanks to each and everyone of them for making this a great place for all of us who followed.

So, thanks one and all for your contributions!

Julie

Yes, we've tried to stay faithful to the example that Sally set.

Congratulations to all, those that were here in the beginning, all that have travelled the journey since then, and those who give so much to help others on their journey.

Every word and every hug is appreciated. The friendships are immensley treasured.

At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness.
Happiness is the way.

I am late on this one since I was away.

The biggest and best birthday ever. I rank it superior to my own. I want to thank you so much Tex for your persistence in keeping us such a great family. Without this board and my family here my life would not be as full.

Love, Maggie

Seven years of researching, caring, sharing, and supporting is phenomenal. Without this site and the information provided here (like available testing and what to do with the information) I'm afraid I would have ended up house bound and accomplishing only a fraction of the progress I have, probably on meds forever and not moving toward remission. It would be a dark place for sure.

Tex and all of you who have blazed the trail to remission, you touch lives everyday in very important ways. Thanks for all you do.

Happiest of birthdays to one of the best online communities in the world.

I simply couldn't imagine what quality of life I would have now if it weren't for all the wonderful folks here, especially Tex.

Thank you SO much! And, Happy Birthday!!

Love,
Jill
