Hi Carol,

Thanks for asking! I live about 2 hours drive in from the Jacksonville coast so we got about 6 hours of driving rain. It has cooled things off a bit so it is kind of pleasant outside now so maybe I'll take a walk.

I hope your weekend has been going well! Keep us posted on how the MRT goes.

The boyfriend and I were both off on Friday so we got a chance to go on a 4 hour inner tube float down one of our local freshwater rivers. I saw about 10 turtles sunning on the shore and saw a lot of 18" fish swimming below. It was very relaxing. Brandy

Glad you're OK, Brandy. The storm looked pretty serious.

 My weekend is going ok. No great float trips-- it does sound nice-- but getting some much needed things done. We've had a couple of evenings of storms popping up and tornadoes touching down about 20 miles from here. Had to spend part of Saturday evening sitting in the bathroom on our lower level. Glad nothing touched down for us.
Six hours of driving rain sounds like enough to me. I"m glad you had nothing more.

Hi Gloria. I can see you are a weather watcher too.

Have a good evening ladies,
Carol

My SO and I spent a week on Tybee Island (outside Savannah, GA) middle of May - we did have one quite "exciting" storm, but I'm glad I wasn't there when Beryl bore down  . We almost drove by Jacksonville on the way home, but decided to head straight west instead - took us 3 days to be back in Denver.

Love,
Kari
