Just a thought I wanted to share.
My husband and I have been redecorating our kitchen. Some of the work we have hired out, and we do what we are able to do.
Interesting.... I have been trying to figure out what type of pictures to add to the room. I find all kinds of pictures with wine and cheese, breads, pastas, and all sorts of other stuff we who have MC cannot eat. The last thing I want to do is put pictures on the wall of foods I can't eat!
This is definitely not earth shattering, but I have been thinking and searching for quite some time.
Anyone else ever notice this?

Yes, I have. Most societies have been flooded with propaganda about the very foods that are most likely to cause digestive system problems for centuries -- possibly for thousands of years. That's one of the reasons why it's so difficult for so many people to give them up.
I have a hunch that it's more than just a coincidence. I discovered this trend when I was doing research for my book, looking for reasons why these same foods are not nearly as healthy as they are claimed to be. Note that wheat, which is promoted as the "staff of life" is so revered that it is even considered to be an essential part of most religions. Obviously, the art of "lobbying" is not a modern discovery -- it's been around for thousands of years.
I hadn't noticed that they even dominated the "food art" world, though, but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for pointing that out.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
