Just another random lie of the GI!

Post by natythingycolbery »

I was having deep and meaningful thoughts earlier and it just crossed my mind what my GI said when I was first diagnosed with MC.

He said upon diagnosis that I would be 'fully cured' in 18 months as it was only a short term illness!!!

Needless to say, I am not cured! If anything I am slightly sicker! Yes I do not have the chronic watery D that I used to have, but I have all the food intolerences which did not exist before diagnosis.

I almost feel like making an appointment to see him to tell him he lied!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not angry with him for saying what he said, he can't inform me on the full facts when he did not have them.

Naty
they probably classify the fact that patients dont return as 'they are cured'

instead of ' i am a hopelss GI and they have sought decent information elsewhere'

I wonder if my (former) GI thinks I'm "cured" because I haven't called him since he tried to tell me I have IBS??
