A bit of history. The very first PP "reunion" was held on the west coast in Oregon and was hosted by the originator of this website, Sally Read. Some of us flew from the east coast (including Katy from N.H. and I), three from Canada, and the rest were mostly from the west coast. Sally hosted us for meals, which were GF and lovely. She was an excellent cook! I think in all about 12 of us attended. We had the most incredible time - what a treat to be together with kindred souls! We would take turns checking out Sally's computer to see what was happening on the website. I remember that Joanna first came on board when we were all at Sally's, and we all took turns offering her advice and support. I believe she was the first PP to start the paleo diet at the same time she started Entocort and then was able to taper off the med. by about 6 mos. and continue in remission with diet alone.

I was so sad that I could not make the get together. Absolutely amazed it was 9 years ago - time flies. Thanks for posting the memories Tex.

Sorry Leslie. I didn't see your question for me. I am in Orange County, about 10 miles from Disneyland in the City of Orange. Is there anyone else in the L.A. Basin?

Christine, my sister works at Children's Hospital of Orange County, and my niece is a student at Chapman University, which I think is also in Orange.

Yes indeed. They are both in Orange. CHOC has a great reputation and so does Chapman. I have a granddaughter that wants to go there in a couple of years.
