Hi I picked up okra at the farmers market but then realized I wasn't sure if it was a nightshade or legume? Brandy

It's neither Brandy. I love it!
Okra (US /ˈoʊkrə/ or UK /ˈɒkrə/; Abelmoschus esculentus Moench), known in many English-speaking countries as lady's fingers or gumbo, is a flowering plant in the mallow family.
